Quick Verdict
The FTC confirms a November 2026 PCH refund round. That does not authenticate every check or message using the name. Verify your payment through the FTC’s listed refund administrator; do not pay to receive it.
Which PCH payment is this?
The FTC’s Publishers Clearing House refund notice, dated November 2026, describes a second round of checks for eligible customers who accepted their first payment. The first checks were sent in April 2025. This is a refund connected to an enforcement case, not a sweepstakes prize.
The notice does not cover every PCH customer. It describes qualifying purchases made after recipients clicked emails that the FTC alleged were deceptive. A past purchase alone does not establish that you qualify for this distribution.
How to check your payment
- Find the case independently. Start at the FTC refund directory and select Publishers Clearing House. Compare the case explanation with the paperwork accompanying your check.
- Use the case-specific administrator. The PCH notice lists 1-888-516-0774 for refund questions in the United States. This is a refund-administration route, not PCH shopping or prize support. Obtain the number from the official notice rather than trusting a callback number in an unsolicited message.
- Check the deadline. The November notice instructs recipients to cash their checks within 90 days. If the date or recipient information is unclear, ask the administrator before acting.
A matching logo, company name or payment amount is not a substitute for checking the particular payment. TIAS cannot authenticate your check or inspect the administrator’s recipient records.
A fee or prize demand is a different matter
The FTC says recipients do not have to pay to obtain this refund. Do not send money to someone promising to release it or give sensitive information to an unsolicited caller offering a refund. A demand to pay for a prize should not be treated as part of this payment program.
For that separate scenario, see our lottery and prize scam warning guide. Keep the message and envelope if you need to explain what happened; do not post an unredacted check publicly.
Frequently asked questions
Why would I receive another check after an earlier refund?
The FTC says money remained in the fund and this round goes to eligible people who accepted the first payment. A second payment is therefore possible; it still needs to match the official case.
What if the check expired or my name is incorrect?
Contact the listed administrator. The FTC refund FAQ explains correction and reissue requests. Reissuing an expired payment depends on money remaining in the fund; a replacement is not guaranteed.
PCH notice and linked FTC verification guidance checked November 6, 2026. The notice is dated November 2026; no exact mailing day or individual delivery date was verified.
